My book has been out for 4 months now, and the reviews are in! Here is some praise for Emily's Tree...

I just wanted to tell you how much I loved the book. I couldn’t put it down. I want a second book. -E.C.
Hi Lisa! I just finished your book - it was just amazing! I laughed and cried (a lot!). Thank you for sharing your talents! -M.C.
Just finished your book. My whole life I steered away from LDS fiction so I was surprised by how much it drew me in. It was very relatable and engaging, and in my sappy old age I shed a tear for both the happy and sad parts. Thanks for getting this to publication. -Kingsley Allan
This is an inspiring and sweet read about Emily, a teenage girl who is figuring out what she believes and what she wants her future to look like. I definitely recommend it for the LDS teen girls in your life! -L. Y.
Filled with lovable characters, a daring rescue, the accurate reality of high school life and the goodness of the gospel of Jesus Christ, Emily’s Tree by Lisa Washburn manifests the deeply moving and emotional story of Emily into the real world... I was surprised at the authenticity and relatable situations scattered throughout the book and how much it moved me; this led me to enjoy this book so much that I read the whole thing in one sitting and the ending was perfect... I highly recommend it, and I hope you love this book as much as I did! I honestly wish I could travel back in time to read it for the first time again because it was such a wholesome, sweet and satisfying whirlwind of amazingness.  -E.Y. (15)

I love how Lisa Washburn wrote Emily’s internal and external conflicts because it made her so relatable, and I’m impressed at how well the plot flowed together; no subplot seemed too big, and I was able to read the book all the way through so fast! The dialogue was also definitely believable, which helped to envision the story as it went along. Beautifully, emotionally written, Emily’s Tree is a must read for fans of clean, religion-based prose and giant character arcs. Seriously, put it on your TBR list right now—I promise, you won’t regret it! -A.Y. (15)
